UNDERSTANDING THE DVC SALES PROCESS
HOW DOES THE SALES PROCESS WORK?
By purchasing a Disney Vacation Club Membership through resale, you will have the opportunity to enjoy all 14 DVC properties. Like all members, you will have the benefits of Home Resort Priority, you'll have access to Member Services and can book your family vacation by phone or online.
The biggest benefit of purchasing a DVC resale rather than buying directly from Disney is the price–you will save 20%-50% off retail pricing!
When logged in, you'll head over to the Listings page and press the plus sign to start the offer process. After you've submitted your offer, the seller will receive an automated email. Once you reach an agreement, you'll sign the sales agreement electronically and we will forward the contract to Disney for ROFR. From start to finish, the closing process takes about 45 days.

What Is a DVC Resale?
A Disney Vacation Club resale is the purchase of an existing DVC membership from a current owner rather than buying directly from Disney. Resale contracts give you access to the same Home Resort Priority booking window, Member Services, and point-based vacation system — typically at 20% to 50% below Disney's retail price. DVC Sales specializes in connecting buyers and sellers with the lowest commission rate of just 6.9%.
How Much Can You Save Buying DVC Resale?
Disney Vacation Club retail prices range from $165 to over $250 per point. On the resale market, the same contracts typically sell for $80 to $175 per point. For a 150-point contract, that's a savings of $5,000 to $15,000 or more. Our Resale Value Calculator shows the current market value for every DVC resort.
DVC Resale Restrictions
Resale buyers enjoy full access to all DVC resorts through the standard booking window. However, resale contracts purchased after January 2019 do not include access to certain perks. You still get Home Resort Priority booking at 11 months. Learn more on our DVC Resale Restrictions page.
What Is Disney's Right of First Refusal (ROFR)?
When a DVC resale contract is sold, Disney has the right to step in and purchase the contract at the agreed-upon price. Disney exercises this right selectively. The ROFR process typically takes 30 days.
DVC Annual Dues Explained
Every DVC member pays annual dues based on the number of points they own and their Home Resort. Dues typically range from $7 to $10 per point per year. Our Annual Dues page shows current dues for every DVC resort.
